THE DEFINITION OF CROSSFIT
What is CrossFit?
CrossFit is a versatile training method that combines functional movements, intensity, and proper nutrition, aiming for overall physical fitness improvement — suitable for every age and level.
CrossFit is a lifestyle characterized by safe, effective exercise and proper nutrition. CrossFit can be used to achieve any goal, from improving health to losing weight and enhancing performance. The program works for everyone — from beginners to experienced athletes. The “magic” lies in the movement. CrossFit workouts vary every day and can be modified to help each individual achieve their goals. They can also be adapted for people of any age and fitness level.
CrossFit uses safe, effective, and efficient movements similar to those we use in everyday life. In CrossFit training, intensity levels are adjusted to challenge the individual and safely improve physical fitness.
Who is it for? Everyone!
The fitness needs of an elderly person, a child, and a professional athlete differ in degree, not in kind. This means practically that a beginner will do the same workout as an advanced athlete, but scaling the intensity, weights, repetitions, time, and difficulty of the exercise.

What is the purpose of CrossFit?
- The balanced development of all 10 components of fitness: cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance, strength, flexibility, speed, power, coordination, accuracy, balance, and agility.
- The improvement of our health through enhancing physical fitness.
- Parameters such as blood pressure, body fat percentage, muscle mass, bone density, HDL/LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, etc., improve significantly with CrossFit. In this way, we move away from illnesses by strengthening our body with health and functionality.
