We strongly believe that exercise is one of the key elements that helps the physical and mental development of children. This is the reason we have CrossFit Kids class in our gym.
Exercise helps children build a healthy musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and respiratory system. It also improves the neuromuscular coordination of children. Children learn to better control their body and their movements, improving their reflexes in external stimuli. Maintaining a child's normal weight is another important benefit of exercise for young children.
In addition to the benefits to the body, physical activity has been linked to multiple psychological benefits for children as well as better socialization. Finally, exercise helps children who are physically active to adopt an overall healthier lifestyle later on and in their adulthood life.
CrossFit has a separate section for children and through a special course, attended by our coaches, provides specific methods and ways of teaching CrossFit to children. Specific techniques are used to keep children safe and effective in a pleasant and friendly environment.
In addition to the exercise part, children play, have fun and make new friends in each lesson. The age group is for children aged 5-10 years and each lesson lasts 45 minutes.
Essential for joining the class is the presentation of a doctor's confirmantion (cardiologist or pathologist) where it allows the child to practice.
